Tommy Express Tunnel of Terror 2024 video
The Tunnel of Terror haunted car wash will be this Friday and Saturday (October 25-26, 2024) at Tommy’s Express West Des Moines. For $25, you get your car washed while folks try to scar you. Plus, they give you a code you can use for 30 days of free car washes (which normally cost almost $25 to buy without the chainsaws and clowns chasing you.)

Haunted Tunnel car wash in Altoona
The Altoona haunted car wash is back. Rocket Car Wash will once again be having their Haunted Tunnel. This year, the price is free for members, and $20 for non-members. Instead of paying $20, consider signing up for their monthly membership which will include the car wash. They have a promotion running where you can buy a month for $10, which gives you the haunted car wash as part of that deal.

I received a message today about a third haunted car wash happening in Des Moines. It will be at Rocket Car Wash/Shine Shop.
I will get it added to the directory as soon as I have all the details.
Ankeny Tunnel of Terror returns
Oasis Car Wash in Akeny did a haunted car wash back in 2020. They are doing it again in 2024. It will be open October 24, 25 and 26, 2024 only. It is a great excuse to get your car washed and have a bit of Halloween Fun 😉

Tommy’s Carwash just let me know they are doing their Tunnel of Terror haunted car wash again this year. Last year, it was at their Grimes location, but this year it will be at their newest location in West Des Moines.

Ever wonder just what a “haunted car wash” is? So did we, so we visited Tommy’s Express Tunnel of Terror last week and found out. This video is mostly raw footage of what they were doing outside the car wash, and then a few snippets of things they had inside. It was mostly lots of clowns with knives messing with people in their car 😉 FUN! And my car now shiny again.
